There’s an awesome bonus to these recipes in that your children will undoubtedly find they actually like vegetables! Older kids can chop vegetables and help with more complex tasks.
What could be more fun (and more delicious) than ribbons of cucumbers? Get the kids in on the action by showing them how to whisk and then watch them excitedly anticipate their very own tasty Cucumber Ribbon Salad!
Set up a quesadilla bar for the family dinner. Older kids can help prepare the beef mixture, adding the ingredients and stirring. Let the younger ones assemble the quesadilla. Be sure they include refreshing, delightful Sweetpops and Red Sun Farms sweet bell peppers.
Kids love pizza! Give them the fun assignment of kneading the dough for Primavera Skillet Pizza. Older kids can help chop the bell peppers and measure out the cherry tomatoes, along with preparing the other ingredients. Loaded with yummy vegetables, this pizza will soon become a family favorite all year round.
